Open Day Noordwijk Rescue Brigade
This coming July 14, the Noordwijk Rescue Brigade will open its doors during our open day on the beach at Post1.
Where is it?
Kon. Wilhelmina Boulevard, Noordwijk. On the beach at Post1 exit 18 near the lighthouse.

06.30-10.30 | Early bird ride.
Will you join us? Across the early beach with an NRB vehicle to our rescue station3 (Langevelderslag).
Every half hour an NRB beach vehicle leaves from the materials building on the Bosweg. Arriving at Post3 you will receive a cup of coffee and a delicious cake. After half an hour you will drive back to Noorwijk. During the ride you will get explanations about the beach, the sea and the rescue team. Attention! Only for donors and on pre-registration via the form on the right.
10.00 - 16.00 |Children's air cushion assault course of 17m
Enjoy running and jumping over a 17m long air cushion assault course.
Want to jump in too? Get a jump wristband at one of our booths.
10.00 - 16.00 | Lifeguard Xperience at the lifeguard station
Market stalls around the lifeguard station including.
- Swim A,B-C and Swim Rescue.
- Lifeguarding as a sport.
- Join the NRB too. Become a Lifeguard - Make the Beach Safe
- Also supports the Noordwijk Rescue Brigade. Become Donor or board sponsor from the NRB.
- Kids Catwalk static and photo shoot.
- Coloring and learning to tie knots.
- Coffee, Lemonade and a treat for the little ones.

10:00-11:00 | 1st mouse swim course
Come in your swimwear and join our mouse swimming course. 30 min theory and 30 min practice at the waterline and in the sea. Information and registration is not necessary. Come at least 15 min. In advance. For all children and their parents (Water part from 10 years and in possession of swimming certificate). Participation is free. Held at our rescue post1 | exit18 | lighthouse | on the beach.
10.00-12.00 | Clinics beach flags (Reddingsbrigade sport)
An activity born of beach and sea surveillance that is now practiced as a competitive sport around the world.
All visitors are welcome to visit our lifeguard station1 on the beach to experience this and, of course, participate.
13:00-14:00 | Great beach demo to post1
Variety of rescues and real actions performed by members of the Noordwijk Rescue Brigade on the beach and in the water. Assisted by Els Star who explains a sound system. You listen along live with the radio traffic.
All visitors are welcome to our rescue station1 on the beach to experience this. Donors may use the donation platform directly at the lifeguard station.
14.30-14.45 hrs |Remembering the winning lottery numbers for the NRB lottery
Prizes are available for immediate pick up. Also to be picked up on Monday, July 16 and 23 at the Forest Road No.4 NRB materials building from 7:00 pm (The results will also be on our website and FB page).
15.00-16.00 | 2nd mouse swim course
Come in your swimwear and join our mouse swimming course.30 min theory and 30 min practice at the waterline and in
sea. Information and registration is not necessary. Come at least 15 min. In advance.
For all Children and with their parents (Water part from 10 years and in possession of swimming certificate). Participation is free.

16.30 End of Open Day
Until 2pm there will be a raffle sale with fantastic prizes sponsored by entrepreneurs from Noordwijk and surrounding areas. These can be found in the program booklet. A ticket costs 0.50. With this you directly sponsor the NRB in its work. Draw 14:30 on the beach.
