The Young Rescuers

Youth Organization Beach

 

Every year the Noordwijk Rescue Brigade organizes youth training on the beach. The training is during the summer when there is no swimming rescue in the pool. You will learn more about the coast, the dangers for bathers and swimmers, the tide and supervising at the beach. You will also learn how to rescue, transport and carry a drowning person from the sea to safety. There are also two regular walk-in days to watch at our lifeguard station.

Program "The Young Rescuers":

For
Children between the ages of 13 and 15 with at least swimming certificate B or swimming with the Noordwijk Rescue Brigade

Where
Rescue station of the Noordwijkse Reddingsbrigade on the Wilhelminaboulevard, exit 10

When
Application: year-round through the website or through pool management

Kick-off: Tuesday evening 12-July 2022 at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Meetings: every Tuesday evening: July 12, 2022 to August 16, 2022 from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Closure: On the last training evening, parents were invited to participate in the activities with connecting snacks and drinks.
